2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS For Sale | With a lift kit

To buy or to build an Off Road Porsche? That’s the question when thinking about this 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS. If your heart is set on a manual transmission, especially for a lifted Cayenne, you’ll have to keep shopping. However, an automatic can’t stop you from having fun with this V8 Cayenne SUV, built for the end of days.

The GTS with the automatic transmission was only behind the Turbo S in the first generation of Porsche Cayenne trims. The Turbo S, well, got a turbo, sure. You think that’d be obvious, but not in today’s world of the Taycan Turbo and some other Turbo names slapped on models. Shoutouts for clarity, Porsche.

Something Unique: Lifted Porsche with a V8!

We had a 2009 Lexus GX 470 and it was a fantastic car. I wish we would’ve kept it. The Cayenne GTS outmuscles that though, making 405 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque pushed through its all wheel drive system. Seems good enough to me. That’s good for a 0-60 time of 6 seconds flat. Slightly faster than this Cars edition lifted Miata will do.

Speed is obviously not the primary goal for this build. It’s nice to know you could go fast, should you ever find yourself in that position.

I could be wrong, but it does not look like this has the bi-xenon headlights. Hopefully, it does have the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control as that can help stabilize the car on uneven surfaces. You’d have to reach out to the owner to know for certain. Given what else is in place, I hope you’ll still be gliding over rough terrain.

This Porsche Cayenne off road build is unofficially brought to you by Eurowise.

  • Eurowise 3” lift with subframe drop. The listing doesn’t specify if it’s air suspension or not, but they’ve got a kit for either.
  • Eurowise dual rear swingout bumper with dual Jerry cans
  • Eurowise tubular front bumper with skid plate, and quad fog lights.
  • Eurowise roof rack with 42” light bar
  • Eurowise carrera gt shift knob

This badlands GTS is also sitting on black O.Z. Racing wheels and look like they’re 18 inches 25 and 30mm studded wheel spacers. They’ve got BFGoodrich All-Terrains on, either K03s which are less aggressive than the KM3s (mud terrain). I don’t know if it counts as badlands, but this lifted Miata can do some stuff, and maybe even be styled better. (NOT REALLY.)

It’s got a SAMOUT roof-mounted awning, something I desperately wish we would’ve put on the Lexus. Plus a SMITTYBILT 10k winch with a wireless remote so you can fish your friends out of trouble while relaxing and laughing. For a final good measure throw in a set of TO.RAGE rocker chop plates.

We all love mods, but we also all know we’re supposed to care more about the vehicle’s history. In the past year, the owner has done the starter, motor mounts, transmission fluid and filter, and a transfer case fluid service.

Those are not exactly fun jobs, especially if you don’t have all of the “make this easier” parts. (I almost never do). The cooling fans have been replaced as well.

We’re looking at new brakes all around and caliper rebuilds. I’d have to imagine that’d include new brake rotors as well. Finally, we’re capped off with replacement rear glass struts.

In the world of the first-gen Cayenne, you’d definitely want GTS or above. It’s all about that V8. If you come across a six-speed manual then jump on it! The list price is way way above the Kelley Blue Book value so you’ll need to decide if the rarity and the mods justify the price.

I can’t make that decision for you, but you’ll definitely attract a lot of attention rolling around in this. That’s worth something to somebody right? Find out more and take a chance at the original listing.
